This study will determine whether Synergo® RITE + MMC treatment is efficacious as second-line therapy for CIS NMIBC BCG-unresponsive patients with or without papillary NMIBC, through examination of the complete response rate (CRR) and disease-free duration for complete responders. The study will also explore progression-free survival time, bladder preservation rate, and overall survival time.

The study will address an unmet need to identify a treatment effective in both ablating the disease and providing a prolonged disease-free period for patients. Ideally, the treatment will delay progression to invasive disease, thus preserving the bladder.

The main aim of this multicentric 5-year follow-up study is to evaluate for the first time the long-term efficacy and safety (in terms of smoking-related serious diseases requiring hospitalization) of e-cigarette smoking, comparing its health effects with those of traditional cigarette smoking and mixed electronic and traditional cigarette smoking.

The study will also permit to evaluate, over a 5-year follow-up, the self-reported quality of life, and the reported adverse events according to current and past smoking habit.

Finally, the study will also explore the long-term adherence to e-cigarette smoking and its efficacy of e-cigarettes in reducing and/or quitting traditional cigarette smoking.

The Efficacy and Safety of Electronic Cigarettes: a 5-year Follow-up Study

Multicentric 5-year Follow-up Study to Assess the Efficacy of E-cigarettes as a Tool for Smoking Cessation and to Compare the Risk of Smoking-related Diseases Among Electronic and Traditional Cigarette Smokers, and Smokers of Both.

Percentage of subjects that were current (in TC and Mixed groups) or former (in EC group) smokers reporting sustained smoking abstinence from traditional cigarette smoking at 60 months. Smoking abstinence is defined as complete abstinence from tobacco smoking (not even a puff) for the 30 days period prior to the visit. This outcome will be self-reported and checked using CO analyzer after breath.

The purpose of this study is to learn about the safety and effects of the study medicine (called avelumab) for the treatment of advanced bladder cancer.

This study is including participants who:

* Participated in the Canadian avelumab patient support program
* Have been diagnosed with advanced bladder cancer
* Have been treated with platinum-based chemotherapy without their disease progressing All participants in this study have previously received avelumab first-line maintenance for the treatment of their advanced bladder cancer.

Pfizer will examine the experiences of people receiving the study medicine. This will help determine the efficacy and safety of the study medicine for the treatment of bladder cancer.

Avelumab was approved by Health Canada in December 2020 for the maintenance treatment of patients with locally advanced/metastatic urothelial carcinoma (LA/mUC) whose disease has not progressed following first-line (1L) platinum-based chemotherapy. As the urothelial carcinoma treatment landscape evolves with novel indications for previously existing medicines and novel agents entering the market, additional insights are needed to assist in guiding treatment decision making. No observational studies of treatment patterns and outcomes for patients in Canada treated with avelumab first-line maintenance (1LM) have been conducted. The purpose of the current study is to conduct an analysis of patient and disease characteristics and treatment patterns to further elucidate the clinical effectiveness and impact of avelumab 1LM therapy for patients with LA/mUC in Canada.

The primary research objective is to assess effectiveness outcomes in a clinical setting for Canadian patients with LA/mUC treated with avelumab 1LM therapy, specifically overall survival (OS) from the date of avelumab 1LM initiation to the date of death from any cause and progression-free survival (PFS) from the date of avelumab 1LM initiation to the date of progression or death from any cause. Selected secondary objectives include describing treatment patterns, describe AEs explicitly attributed to avelumab among patients with LA/mUC treated with avelumab 1LM and response rates from date of avelumab 1LM initiation, and separately, from the date of chemotherapy initiation, and duration of response (DOR) from date of best overall response in each line of therapy.

This is a clinical trial studying the administration of NanoDoce as a direct injection to the bladder wall immediately after tumor resection and as an intravesical instillation. All participants will receive NanoDoce, and will be evaluated for safety and tolerability, as well as the potential effects of NanoDoce on urothelial carcinoma.

In this clinical trial, subjects with high-risk non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC) or muscle invasive bladder cancer (MIBC), will receive NanoDoce. Subjects will be stratified into two treatment groups, Group 1 (NMIBC) and Group 2 (MIBC). All subjects will receive NanoDoce injected into the index tumor resection site on the bladder wall, immediately following transurethral resection of the bladder tumor (TURBT), followed by an initial NanoDoce intravesical instillation.

Once the TURBT resection site is healed (approximately 1 month), Group 1 (NMIBC) subjects will proceed to a 3-month Induction period (6 weekly NanoDoce intravesical instillations, followed by 6 weeks of rest). After the Induction period, following confirmation of non-recurrence, Group 1 subjects will proceed to a 3-month Maintenance period (3 weekly NanoDoce intravesical instillations, followed by 9 weeks of rest).

After NanoDoce direct injection and the initial intravesical instillation, Group 2 subjects will proceed to institutional standard of care and will not receive Induction or Maintenance intravesical instillations.

Open-label, dose rising trial consisting of a dose escalation phase and a dose confirmation phase for direct injection doses. In the dose escalation phase, subjects will be enrolled in sequential cohorts of three subjects starting at the lowest concentration. The dose determined to be most suitable for further evaluation will enroll additional subjects to total up to 12 subjects at that dose level.

The study will also dose escalate Groups 1 and 2 for the intravesical instillation of NanoDoce concentrations (2.0 and 3.0 mg/mL).

NanoDoce (direct injection): Subjects received NanoDoce 2.5 mg/mL (up to 4 mL) injected into the index tumor resection site on the bladder wall, immediately following transurethral resection of the bladder tumor (TURBT).

NanoDoce (intravesical instillation) - Subjects received an intravesical instillation of NanoDoce 2.0 mg/mL within 2 hours of direct injection. Total dose administered for intravesical instillation could not exceed 50 mg in 25 mL of saline for a final concentration of 2.0 mg/mL.

The muscle invasive bladder cancer (MIBC) (Group 2) and MIBC Group 2 Subset were assessed for disease progression at Day 45. There were two subjects in the 3.75 mg/mL NanoDoce cohort for whom disease status at Day 45 was unknown, and there were two subjects withdrawn from the study prior to analysis of disease progression at Day 45.

The purpose of this clinical trial is to evaluate the ability of urinary Survivin mRNA measurement to estimate the risk of bladder cancer at the time of cystoscopy in subjects with no prior history of bladder cancer presenting with microscopic or macroscopic hematuria.

Bladder cancer is the fourth most common cancer in men and ninth most common cancer in women, accounting for more than 60,000 new cases and \~12,000 deaths in North America in 2004. Cystoscopy and urinary cytology is the standard of care for detection of bladder cancer, but cystoscopy is expensive and invasive, while cytology has low sensitivity. New, noninvasive, diagnostic tools for bladder cancer detection have been developed, but their application in clinical practice has been limited due to low sensitivity and specificity of the assays. Survivin, an anti-apoptotic protein, is capable of regulating both cell proliferation and apoptotic cell death, and is over-expressed in most human cancers but not in normal adult tissues. The purpose of this clinical trial is to evaluate the ability of urinary Survivin mRNA measurement to estimate the risk of bladder cancer at the time of cystoscopy in subjects with no prior history of bladder cancer presenting with microscopic or macroscopic hematuria.

This study is designed to be a prospective, multicenter, double blind, clinical study in subjects \>50 years old with no prior history of bladder cancer and confirmed hematuria (microscopic and/or macroscopic) presenting to a urologist.

The primary objective of the study is to estimate the risk of bladder cancer at the time of cystoscopy in subjects \>50 years old with no prior history of bladder cancer and confirmed hematuria using urinary Survivin mRNA levels.

The secondary objective of the study is for comparison of a multivariate predictive algorithm using urinary Survivin mRNA levels and subject risk factors, such as age, sex, race, and smoking history, for estimation of the risk of bladder cancer at the time of cystoscopy in subjects \>50 years old with no prior history of bladder cancer and confirmed hematuria to the use of urinary Survivin mRNA levels alone.
