Patients are asked to cough during the first biopsy. They should not cough during the second biopsy, and no additional interventions will be performed during the second biopsy.

To investigate the effect of coughing as an intervention to reduce pain in colposcopy guided biopsy.

Colposcopy is a frequently practiced examination and Colposcopy guided biopsy causes pain. A few trials Investigated whether medical interventions such as the application of lidocaine led to reduced pain perception with inconsistent results. Only one trial compared coughing versus no coughing at the moment of biopsy. Although the results of this study did not lead to a significant difference between the two study arms, coughing seems to positively affect pain perception.

Since the patients are, in the best case, their own controls when it comes to subjective parameters such as pain perception, we prefer a cross-over rather than a parallel group design.

Based on the descriptive variables for pain during biopsy with and without cough determined in the pilot study, a case estimate for a prospective randomized cross-over study will be carried out. Since two biopsies are usually taken from the cervix in daily practice, the now planned pilot study in a cross-over design envisages the following two study arms:

1. Group I: Patients cough during the first biopsy, they do not cough during the second biopsy
2. Group II: Patients cough during the second biopsy, they do not cough during the first biopsy

The primary Outcome measure is the difference in the patients' perception of pain during the first and second biopsy on the cervix (ectocervix), measured using an 11-part numerical analogue scale (11-item NAS).

In France, the screening rate for cervical cancer remains too low. Screening is simple and non-invasive.

Pregnant patients are most of the time young and are part of the target population for screening, and for many women, it is the first encounter with a gynecologist.

The cervical smear is therefore an important step of the first consultation during pregnancy In the case of pathological results, colposcopies with biopsies are performed, frequently finding CIN 1 to 3. (cervical intraepithelial neoplasia) These CIN lesions evolve slowly and most of the time, treatment can be withheld until the end of the pregnancy.

Several studies suggest a higher regression rate in pregnant patients. Our study will evaluate the rate of regression, progression or persistence of these lesions in per and post partum patients in Nancy, between 2014 and 2022.

To obtain our results, we will compare the results of per and post partum biopsies in each patient.

In a second step, we will study the risk factors of aggravation or on the contrary the protective factors, allowing a faster regression of the lesions

Supracervical hysterectomy is widely common and had many complications either immediate or delayed. In these patients bleeding, infection, chronic pelvic pain are common. In these patients cervical biopsy was done and histopathological examinations were done to evaluate the pathology in these patients.

* Study design and settings: Cross sectional descriptive studies conducted from December 2017 till January 2021.
* Patients: 80 patients with supracervical hysterectomy recruited at Tanta University Hospital, gynecology clinics will be recruited according inclusion and exclusion criteria. Inclusion criteria include all symptomatizing patients following supracervical hysterectomy, of any age, of any complaints. The exclusion criteria were patients with total hysterectomy, hysterectomies for malignant indications, and refusal to participate.
* Methods: All patients' demographic data, history, indication of hysterectomy, duration since operation, postoperative complications and their main complaint.

Intervention: under general anesthesia cervical biopsy (4 quadrants) were taken from all patients and was sent for histopathological examinations.
