This group will consist of 50 adults age 18 or older who have been diagnosed with either melanotic or amelanotic iris tumors. Iris tumor diagnosis will be confirmed by biopsy when possible or based upon clinical features (if patient declines biopsy or if not medically indicated) according to standard-of-care guidelines.

This group will consist of 50 adults age 18 and older who have healthy eyes.

This is an observational study using OCT angiography to assist with tumor characterization in melanotic and amelanotic iris lesions. OCT angiography data from healthy eyes will be compared to eyes with various types of iris tumors.

Observational Study of Iris Tumors

OCT/OCTA will be used to compare tumor thickness measurements against the conventional Ultrasonic Biomicroscopy (UBM) device. Tumor thickness will be measured in millimeters, and growth of 0.5 mm or greater will be used to differentiate malignant from benign lesions.

Tumor area will be measured by OCT/OCTA in mm2 and compared against conventional UBM measurements.

Tumor volume will be measured by OCT/OCTA in mm3 and compared against conventional UBM measurements.

Vessel density and tortuosity will both be measured in % occupied by flow pixels on OCT/OCTA.

Participants have been diagnosed with at least 1 Basal Cell Carcinoma/BCC based on clinical, dermoscopy, RCM (reflectance confocal microscopy) and OCT (optical coherence tomography)

Digital Dermoscopy will be performed every 3 months.

The purpose of this study is to find out more about how Basal Cell Carcimonas/BCCs grow and to learn more effective ways to monitor and treat these common cancers. This study will not provide any type of treatment for the participants' cancer; it is a 3-year observational study to monitor participants' cancer.

A Study of Observation and Follow-up in People With Basal Cell Carcinoma

Basal Cell Carcinoma Follow Up Study. A Prospective Study

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center supports the international committee of medical journal editors (ICMJE) and the ethical obligation of responsible sharing of data from clinical trials. The protocol summary, a statistical summary, and informed consent form will be made available on clinicaltrials.gov when required as a condition of Federal awards, other agreements supporting the research and/or as otherwise required. Requests for deidentified individual participant data can be made beginning 12 months after publication and for up to 36 months post publication. Deidentified individual participant data reported in the manuscript will be shared under the terms of a Data Use Agreement and may only be used for approved proposals. To adequately measure the growth dynamics of tumors, several imaging modalities will be employed. Longest dimension (millimeters) of the lesion from clinical imaging will be the primary measurement of horizontal extent of the lesion. Maximum lesion depth (millimeters) from OCT imaging will be the primary measured of vertical extension.

To evaluate the feasibility of active follow-up of BCC as a way of managing BCC.

Participants in this group will receive OCT imaging immediately prior, immediately after and 2 months after post standard of care C\&D.

VivoSight Dx OCT system from Michelson Diagnostics Ltd. OCT will be used to visualize the tumor and lesion in the skin.

Standard of care C\&D where the basal cell carcinoma lesion will be scraped to its base using a Fox dermal curette and an electrodesiccation machine.

Group 1 includes patients who are planned for cataract extraction without any other preexisting retinal or optic nerve pathology that may affect the RNFL thickness.

Group 2 includes patients who are diagnosed with POAG controlled on medical treatment and have cataract and planned for cataract extraction only OCT is done before and after cataract extraction

Optical coherence tomography (OCT) for retinal nerve fiber layer (RNFL) and ganglion cell complex (GCC) is done before and after cataract extraction in patients with or without primary open angle glaucoma (POAG)

The investigator's study includes two groups of patients, each consists of 25 eyes, group 1 (cataract group)includes patients who are planned for cataract extraction without any other preexisting retinal or optic nerve pathology that may affect the RNFL thickness, while group 2 (combined cataract and glaucoma group) includes patients who are diagnosed with POAG controlled on medical treatment with cataract and planned for cataract extraction only.

The OCT scans with complete ophthalmological examination are done before surgery and 6 weeks after uneventful cataract extraction (phacoemulsification with intraocular lens implantation)
