* To determine the depth of coagulation which is possible in human liver tissue using the saline linked RF Surface ablation with the Tissue Link floating ball.
* To determine the efficacy of the technique on surface liver tumors using saline linked RF surface ablati
* To determine a safe (non-popping upper limit) of power per area that will permit a 1 cm depth of tissue destruction without inflow occlusion an da 2 cm depth with inflow occlusion.

Treatment Plan: Patients with resectable hepatic metastases confined to the liver and who are referred to the Study Chairs will undergo routine work-up for hepatic resection.

Operative Procedure:

Stage I will be completed and the data analyzed before Stage II commences. Stage I data will be used to define the safe levels for use in Stage II.

Stage I-Depth of coagulation with and without inflow occlusion at fixed times - and powers below the popping threshold.

At surgery, in the absence of extrahepatic disease, the liver will be dissected in the usual fashion for a bi-segmentectomy, hemihepatectomy or larger liver resection. Prior to transection of the liver, saline linked RF ablations will be performed on normal liver tissue within the area of resection away from the tumor and the proposed line of transection.

1 cm and 2 cm diameters will be studied together in 8 patients. They will be treated for a total of 18 minutes (9 min for 1 cm and 9 min for 2 cm with 9 minutes of inflow occlusion. The 4 cm lesions will be studied in 8 other patients, 4 of whom will receive 9 minutes of inflow occlusion.

After resection of the liver and establishment of resection margins on the tumor, the ablated areas of normal liver tissue will be excised frozen and studied for depth of lesion and examined by H \& E and histological techniques using vital stains that will allow definition of tissue depth.

Stage II-An ablate and resect Study

Once parameters have been defined on normal liver, the effect of surface RF ablation on resectable hepatic tumors which come to the surface of the liver will be examined. In this portion of the study, tumors will be treated with saline linked RF ablation with a power and a duration of application which has been found to produce the maximum safe depth of coagulation. The surface area of coagulation will be dependent upon the size of the tumor. The area of treatment will encompass the tumor as well as a zone at least 0.5cm outside the edge of the tumor. Inflow occlusion will be used in one half of the patients.

Twelve tumors will be treated in 12 patients.

Pathology Evaluation

First Group of Patients The normal tissue exposed to RF will be resected, prepared for histo-pathological studies and examined to determine the extent of tissue necrosis and popping, if any.

Second Group of Patients Tumors exposed to RF ablation will be resected and the extent of tissue necrosis and popping will be determined. Also, damage to normal tissue will be examined.

The purpose of this study is to compare the effectiveness of percutaneous ethanol ablation using a multi-pronged needle (QFEA) with that of percutaneous radiofrequency ablation (RFA) in the treatment of early-stage hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC).

Patients with early-stage (single tumor no more than 5 cm or up to 3 tumors each no more than 3 cm in size) primary hepatocellular carcinoma will be randomized into two percutaneous ablation treatment arms, including radiofrequency ablation and multi-pronged ethanol ablation. The local treatment responses, complications,and long-term disease-free survivals and overall survivals are analyzed.

Single-arm study where subjects receive RF ablation prior to a scheduled surgical resection.

The intervention consists of a bronchoscopic approach to ablate lung tumors with radio-frequency energy.

Evaluate the preliminary safety and performance of the Electrosurgery Applicator (ANET device) during and after bronchoscopic ablation of a target pulmonary nodule/tumor.

This study is a prospective, single arm, single center study that will evaluate the effectiveness of the ANET Electrosurgery Applicator in up to 10 subjects.

Subjects who consent to participate in this study will have a lung tumor that is scheduled to be removed surgically as part of their normal treatment. During the surgical procedure, just prior to resection the subject's tumor will be treated with the ANET device. The ANET device uses a bronchoscope to reach the tumor. Ultrasound on the bronchoscope, CT, and X-rays are used to make sure the ANET device is in the tumor. Once in the tumor, the ANET device uses radio-frequency (RF) ablation to treat the tumor. After standard surgical resection the tumor and surrounding tissue is evaluated to characterize the effect of the ANET.

Needles are inserted into the tumor(s) under guidance by a CT scan or ultrasound. The electrodes in the needles will be heated up to 202 degrees Fahrenheit and will remain heated for up to 12 minutes.

The purpose of this study is to look at the effects of a procedure called radiofrequency ablation on kidney tumors from patients who are undergoing antiangiogenic treatment. Antiangiogenic treatment is a type of treatment that inhibits formation of new blood vessels that are required for tumor growth. Radiofrequency ablation (RF ablation) involves inserting a needle into tumor tissue and administering heat to the tumor tissue that is sufficient to kill the tumor cells.

* Participants will undergo a RF ablation procedure of one or more of their tumors that have not gone away while they have been undergoing antiangiogenic treatment. The RF ablation procedure will be performed in the operating room at one of the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center hospitals and will be performed under general anesthesia.
* Blood will also be drawn 2-4 weeks before the procedure, at the time of teh procedure and 2-4 weeks after the procedure.
* The RF ablation procedure will be performed at specified times in relation to the participants antiangiogenic treatment (sorafenib or sunitinib): a) If the participant is taking sorafenib, they will be asked to stop taking it 2-5 days prior to the RF ablation procedure; b) if the participant is taking sunitinib, they will be asked to stop taking it 4-7 days prior to the RF ablation procedure.
* Participants will have an MRI or a CT scan of their tumor(s) within 2-4 weeks of the procedure and 2-4 weeks after the procedure. The MRI or CT will scan the tumor(s) to determine how much blood flow is going to them.
* At the time of RF ablation, participants will have a biopsy of their tumor(s) and will receive a CT scan in the area the ablation was performed after the procedure to assess for any bleeding. They will also be monitored for 4 hours after the RF ablation procedure.
