Participants include female breast cancer patients who either receive endocrine therapy and suffer from endocrine induced alopecia or suffer from post chemotherapy induced alopecia.

Participants will receive PRP obtained with PRP harvesting kits on one side of the scalp and no injections on the other side of the scalp (split-scalp technique). The entire half of the intended scalp will receive inter-follicular injections of PRP under aseptic conditions at the amount of 0.05-0.1 ml/cm2 in a retrograde fashion from deep to superficial, at every centimeter throughout the treated site. For study purposes, Study Day 0 is defined as the first day of injection. Subsequently the patient will continue therapy every 4 weeks for a total of 3 injections (12 weeks).

Platelet Rich Plasma system

Participants who enroll in this study will undergo the platelet-rich plasma (PRP) study treatment. Participants will have a sample of blood collected and the platelets will be separated and then injected into half of the participants' scalp every 4 weeks for 12 weeks.

A Pilot Study of the Clinical Effectiveness of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) for the Treatment of Endocrine Therapy-Induced Alopecia (EIA) and Permanent Chemotherapy-Induced Alopecia (pCIA) in Breast Cancer Patients

The protocol summary, a statistical summary, and informed consent form will be made available on clinicaltrials.gov when required as a condition of Federal awards, other agreements supporting the research and/or as otherwise required. Deidentified individual participant data reported in the manuscript will be shared under the terms of a Data Use Agreement and may only be used for approved proposals. The primary endpoint of this study is the is the relative density in scalp hair at week 12compared to baseline (week 0) between treatment and observation sides of the scalp. The study investigator will use the 7-point GAS (-3 = greatly decreased, -2 = moderately decreased, -1 = slightly decreased, 0 = no change, +1 = slightly increased, +2 = moderately increased, and +3 = greatly increased) to evaluate relative differences in hair density.

General anesthesia combined with epidural anesthesia will be performed during surgery and patient-controlled epidural analgesia (PCEA) will be provided after surgery.

General anesthesia will be performed during surgery and patient-controlled intravenous analgesia (PCIA) will be provided after surgery.

Thoracic epidural catheterization will be performed and epidural anesthesia will be maintained with 0.25% ropivacaine during surgery. General anesthesia will be maintained with inhalation (sevoflurane) and muscle relaxants will be administered when considered necessary.

Patient-controlled epidural analgesia (0.15% ropivacaine and 0.5ug/ml sufentanil infusion) will be provided after surgery.

PCEA

General anesthesia will be maintained with inhalation (sevoflurane) and sufentanil infusion, and muscle relaxants will be administered when considered necessary.

Patient-controlled intravenous analgesia (1ug/ml sufentanil) will be provided after surgery.

The purpose of this randomized controlled clinical trial is to investigate the effects of epidural block on overall survival，disease-free survival and recovery in patients with pancreatic cancer undergoing distal pancreatectomy. This study will also evaluate the effects of this technique on neuroendocrine, stress and inflammatory response in these patients.

Assessed with visual analogue score ( 0 is no pain and 10 is the most severe pain)

Assessed for delirium using the 3D-CAM instrument

Patients were given continuous RISS plane block in addition to patient controlled intravenous analgesia.

Patients were given single RISS plane block in addition to patient controlled intravenous analgesia.

Patients were given patient controlled intravenous analgesia.

Before the operation,the patient was placed in the left lateral position.The catheter（soft tip epidural catheter 20-gauge-100 cm） was placed at the rhomboid-intercostal plane under ultrasound guidance at the T5-T6 level, followed by ultrasound-guided catheter placed in the anterior serrated muscle plane at the T7-9 level。

Catheterization

Before the operation,40milliliters of 0.3% ropivacaine was injected into the rhomboid-intercostal fascia plane and anterior serrated muscle plane respectively under the guidance of ultrasound.

Single nerve block

After surgery,local anesthetics were injected continuously through catheters.Local anesthetic formula:Ropivacaine 300mg + normal saline, prepared into 150milliliters liquid, background dose 2milliliters/h.

Continuous nerve block

After surgery, the patient was given controlled intravenous analgesia. Analgesic pump drug formula:Sufentanil 50ug+ Dezocine 20mg+ Granisetron 10mg+150milliliters saline, continuous dose of 2milliliters/h intravenous pump, single injection dose of 2milliliters, locking time of 20 min

The objective is to investigate the safety and effectiveness of rhomboid intercostal and subserratum plane (RISS) block for postoperative analgesia after minimally invasive McKeown esophagectomy (MIE-McKeown).

Rhomboid intercostal and subserratum plane block (RISS) is a nerve block technique in which local anesthetics are injected into the rhomboid-intercostal muscle planes and the serratus anterius-intercostal muscle planes, and the intercostal nerve is blocked by diffusion of local anesthetics. It is confirmed that RISS can provide analgesia not only in the front half of the chest, but also in the upper abdomen. However, the efficacy of RISS in minimally invasive surgery for esophageal cancer has not been proven. The investigators placed catheters on the RISS plane and continuously injected local anesthetics to investigate whether RISS is effective and safe in minimally invasive esophageal cancer surgery.

Clinical Study of Rhomboid Intercostal and Subserratum Plane Block for Postoperative Analgesia in Minimally Invasive Esophagectomy

patient will be asked to rate their pain level at rest and cough respectively using visual analogue scale（VAS）.(0 being no pain, 10 being worst pain imaginable)

The mean arterial pressure (MAP)on the monitor at different times was recorded.

The Heart rate (HR)on the monitor at different times was recorded.

The occurrence of nausea /vomiting was recorded

The occurrence of hypotension was recorded

The occurrence of respiratory depression was recorded

The occurrence of urinary retention was recorded

patient will be asked to rate their Satisfaction with analgesia using verbal rating scales (VRS) .Scores from 1 to 5 represent very dissatisfied, not satisfied, basically satisfied, relatively satisfied, and very satisfied with the analgesic effect, respectively.
