Primary Objective:

-To study if an online individual brief CBT (group A) intervention is effective for psychological distress (anxiety and depression) compared to a CAU group in patients with PCOS at 3 and 6 months relative to baseline.

Secondary Objective(s):

1. To study if an online group based brief CBT (group B) is more effective for anxiety and depression compared to CAU in patients with PCOS at 3 and 6 months relative to baseline.
2. To determine if an online individual brief CBT (group A) is effective for improvements in QoL, coping strategies, body image and sleep quality compared to CAU in patients with PCOS at 3 and 6 months relative to baseline.
3. To determine if an group based brief CBT (group B) is more effective for improvements in QoL, coping strategies, body image and sleep quality compared to CAU in patients with PCOS at 3 and 6 months relative to baseline.
4. If A and B are effective compared to CAU, we will compare online individual brief CBT (group A) to online group based brief CBT (group B) for anxiety and depression, QoL, coping strategies, body image and sleep quality compared to in patients with PCOS at 3 and 6 months relative to baseline.

The online brief CBT intervention is designed to address three problems that have often been reported in women with PCOS. Therefore, the program contains three themes: Psychoeducation about PCOS; traditional CBT and problem-solving therapy.

Participants are randomized into one of three groups:

1. individual treatment (A)
2. group treatment (B)
3. care as usual (CAU)

Treatment A and B include 5 sessions divided over a period of 3 months:

Changes in depression scores as assessed by the Hospital anxiety and depression scale (HADS). HADS is a 14-item scale with seven items each for anxiety and depression subscales. Scoring for each item ranges from zero to three. A subscale score \>8 denotes anxiety or depression. A higher score indicates higher distress.

After randomization, participants in the experimental group underwent mindfulness-based meditation and yoga practices with 90-minute sessions on Thursdays for 8 weeks. In these practices, a different theme was determined each week.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of mindfulness-based meditation and yoga on stress, self-esteem, body image and sexual adjustment in breast cancer patients.

The study was conducted in a single-center, prospective (pretest-posttest-2. month follow-up), two-arm (1:1), randomized controlled experimental design.

In this study, the effects of an 8-week structured mindfulness-based meditation and yoga program on stress, self-esteem, body image and sexual adjustment will be evaluated in women undergoing modified radical mastectomy. The 8-week interventions were conducted by the researcher. The researcher who performed these applications has a certificate of mindfulness meditation, yoga, breathing and movement trainer. Due to the nature of the research, the researcher is involved in the implementation of the mindfulness-based meditation and yoga program, data collection and data entry into the system. At the same time, the women in the experimental group had to be informed about the research. Therefore, researcher and participant blinding could not be performed. However, randomization was performed to prevent selection bias (1:1). The randomization process was performed by a statistical expert other than the researcher and communicated to the researcher. The participants included in the study were numbered from 1 to 41, preserving their random order in the list received from the hospital. The groups were divided into Group 1 and Group 2 by the statistician and the first group was determined as the experimental group and the second group as the control group by lottery method. The randomization table was created by making use of "http://calculatorsoup.com". Before the 8-week process started, 3 measurements were made to the participants: pre-test, post-test at the end of 8 weeks and follow-up measurement 2 months after the application.

The Effect of Mindfulness-based Yoga and Meditation Practices on Stress, Self-esteem, Body Image and Sexual Adjustment in Breast Cancer Patients Undergoing Modified Radical Mastectomy: A Randomized Controlled Trial

The Perceived Stress Scale developed by Cohen, Kamarck and Mermelstein (1983) consists of 14 items and has 2 sub-dimensions (perception of inadequate self-efficacy and perception of stress/discomfort). Individuals are asked to rate on a 5-point Likert scale how often they have experienced certain feelings or thoughts in the last month.

Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale is a self-report scale consisting of 63 multiple-choice questions. The scale consists of twelve subcategories. Rosenberg stated that the subscales can be used separately in research if desired. For the purpose of the study, the first '10' items of the scale will be used to measure self-esteem.

The scale was developed by Dalton et al. to assess body image and sexuality in postoperative women with breast cancer. It consists of two separate scales, the Body Image Scale and the Sexual Adjustment Scale. The six-item Body Image Scale has two subscales, namely before body image score and after body image score. These subscales measure body image before and after breast cancer diagnosis. The eight-item Sexual Adjustment Scale has three subscales: sexual adjustment, sexual functioning and sexual importance of breasts score.

It is a personal tool for measuring sexual function that has been validated in women who have been clinically diagnosed with female sexual dysfunction. The Female Sexual Function Scale was developed by Rosen et al. in the USA in 2000 as a 19-item multidimensional scale to assess female sexual function.

The nursing intervention prior to surgery: (breast and colon cancer):

1. First phase: At first these subjects suffered a great emotional impact after knowing the diagnosis, which could generate intense anxiety reactions.
2. Second phase or phase of coping, in which they begin to be aware of their illness and the future changes they will suffer in their body. In this phase they react with fear, anger, anger, denial, ...
3. Third phase or phase of adaptation to the new situation, where there is a decrease in previous emotional reactions, the patient being able to start up the resources learned to reduce their psychological discomfort.

HEALTH EDUCATION

This is a non-blinded, randomized, controlled clinical trial consisting of 64 participants, which aims to assess the effectiveness of a nursing intervention for family members and patients prior to surgery to prevent body image disorder in breast cancer operated subjects. or colon (32 participants), compared to the intervention limited only to patients (32 participants).

Cancer is one of the most important public health problems on a global scale in the 21st century. The National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases highlights, among the most frequent neoplasms, prostate cancer, colon-rectum, lung in men and breast, colon-rectum in women.

One of the main treatments to be able to approach this type of tumors, such as breast and colorectal, is surgery. There are different surgical procedures (conservative surgery, mastectomy, ostomy) that, in a forceful way, affect the body image of the individual, sometimes generating extreme and painful situations. They are procedures that carry biopsychosocial implications and that generate a change in lifestyle.

A better psychological preparation and an effective health education of the patient prior to surgery (consisting of providing the information of the intervention, providing psychological support during the entire surgical process and reporting on the changes that will occur), balance the characteristic stressful trait of surgery, thus decreasing the level of anxiety of the individual.

In order for the patient to overcome this change in his body image, the role played by his immediate family member is fundamental, not only because it helps him improve the quality of life that he will have during the course of his illness, but also because an adequate emotional state can improve the patient's therapeutic response.

The objective of this study was to evaluate the body image disorder suffered by patients with breast and colorectal cancer after undergoing surgery, comparing the group that received a previous nursing intervention with their immediate family member, compared to the patients who received this intervention without him.

A randomized, non-blinded, controlled clinical trial was conducted. The study consisted of performing a nursing intervention prior to breast and colon surgery to both groups, giving health education divided into four phases: providing information on the disease, showing surgeries and similar experiences, explaining coping methods and reporting on techniques of relaxing.

The group randomized to Dance intervention will receive a 3-week intervention with belly dance classes. The classes will be divided in: Warm up and stretching (10 minutes), Main part with belly dance steps and movements (40 minutes) and relaxation (10 minutes).

The group randomized to Pilates intervention will receive a 3-week intervention with Pilates Methods. The classes will be divided in: Warm up and stretching (10 minutes), Main part with Pilates exercises (40 minutes) and relaxation (10 minutes).

The group randomized to Control group will be invited to maintain routine activities and be contacted by phone every two months and will receive an explanatory booklet on the benefits of physical activity after diagnosis of breast cancer as well as instructions on lymphedema prevention. Also, this group will be invited to three meeting during the 16 weeks of intervention, the first meeting will focus on stretching exercise to develop at home, a second meeting will be about self-esteem and the last meeting will be about prevented of lymphedema. The women in this group will not receive a dance or pilates intervention.

The Dance intervention will be performed with belly dance methods. It will occur 3 times per week, during 16 weeks, with 60 minutes the session.

Breast cancer is one of the most common types of cancer in Brazil, and its treatment, namely surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy or hormone therapy, has consequences and side effects that significantly affect the quality of life and associated physical and psychological factors. The practice of physical activity, in turn, may play a beneficial role in these factors, and help the recovery of the patient in relation to the consequences of the treatments. Two types of physical activity can be addressed in the context of breast cancer; Dance and the Pilates method. Thus, the objective of the present study will be to analyze the impact of Pilates practice and dance on quality of life and on psychological and physical factors in patients undergoing adjuvant treatment of breast cancer. Patients older than 18 years who are in adjuvant treatment, namely, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and / or hormone therapy at the Oncology Research Center - CEPON, will be invited to be part of the study. With a randomized clinical trial of three arms, the patients will be submitted to 16 weeks of intervention, and randomized in 3 groups: (A) belly dance protocol group; (B) Pilates method protocol group, and (C) control group who will continue with their routine activities. Sample randomization will be conducted in confidence by one of the researchers in a specific computer program. Information about personal and clinical characteristics, quality of life, psychological factors (depressive symptoms, body image, self-esteem, optimism, perceived stress, fatigue, pain, sexual function and sleep quality) and physical factors (cardiorespiratory fitness, balance , Posture, upper limb functionality and presence of lymphedema). All information will be collected before and after the intervention period. Statistical analysis will use the statistical package SPSS - IBM, version 20.0. Firstly, descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation and percentage) will be used in order to know the data, and then the Anova two way test with repeated measurements and Sydak Comparison Test, in order to analyze the data. Groups of the Pilates method, of the dance and control group. Significance level of 5%.

The MoveMama Project includes two protocols: (1) Dance and (2) Pilates. Each session for each modality will last 60 minutes, three times a week, for 16 weeks.

In both groups, a chart of patient evolution will be developed during the protocol, which should be updated every week by the researchers responsible for the intervention. In order to control the intensity and safety of the practice of physical activity, since they are about patients who are in period of clinical adjuvant treatment. In this way, the blood pressure (BP), through a sphygmomanometer, and the investigation of the heart rate (HR) will be performed in every first class of the week at the beginning and end of the session.

The Subjective Effort Perception Scale - Borg Scale 6-20 points (BORG, 2000) will also be used to evaluate the intensity and / or discomfort during physical activity practice in both protocols. This 6 to 20-point scale can be used efficiently because of its relationship to heart rate. It should be applied to describe resting sensations to situations of maximum physical effort, considering number six equivalent to 60 bpm (beats per minute), as well as number 20 to 200 bpm (Table 2) (FOSS et al., 2000).

In both modalities of intervention, the evolution of the movements of upper limbs will always be respecting the limit of each patient.

The dance protocol (1) will be performed through the belly dance method. This type of methodology was selected, because it is a practice that involves an intimate relationship between movement and emotion, awakens a spontaneous body language that privileges movements that respect the individuality of each practitioner, for the recovery of the feminine identity, and for be a practice that proposes intense movements of the upper limbs, benefiting patients directly.

Classes will proceed in the following order: (a) Initial stretching: The sequence of movements lesson will span wide to specific joint movements, including flexion, extension, abduction, adduction and rotation, initiated by the upper body until reaching the lower limbs, with an expected duration of 10 minutes. (b) Main part: brief explanations about the purpose of the lesson, that is, the theory of dance or the specific step to be worked, followed by the practical part of teaching the technique. The purpose of this moment will be to develop in the students the movements of the belly dance technique, stimulating the motor coordination, the rhythm and the corporal consciousness, improving aspects of the flexibility and the range of movement of the upper limb. The practice of the movements will be explored in individual dynamics, in double or in group, involving the movement according to the rhythm of the music, or also, by rhythms stipulated by the students. This class session will last an average of 40 minutes. (c) Relaxation: Developed from slow-moving practices. With normalization of cardiac frequency, this part will last 10 minutes. Finally, at the end of each class, a brief discussion will be carried out on each student's perception of the contents given, and in relation to the objectives discussed at the beginning of the lesson, whether they were reached or not.

The Pilates protocol (2) will proceed in the following order: (a) Initial stretching: The breathig, imprint \& release, hip release, spinal rotation, cat stretch, hip rolls, scapula isolation, arm circles, head nods and elevation \& depression of scapulae exercises will be performed during warm-up in all sessions, then in the 10th session Added theraband, tonning ball and ball, intensifying the exercises. Duration of 10 minutes. (b) Main part: brief explanations about the purpose of the lesson, the theory of Pilates, the basic principles of Joseph Pilates: breathing, centering, control, precision, fluency and concentration. This will be a multicenter prospective descriptive case series study following a cohort.

The micropigmentation/tattoo procedure will be carried out following the protocol established in each center (see annex x). The present investigation only involves measuring the impact that this technique has on the patients by collecting data in digital format before and after the CAP micropigmentation/tattoo that motivated their visit to the clinical service.

CAP micropigmentation/tattooing is usually performed between 6 and 12 months after the breast reconstructive surgery has been completed, sufficient time for healing to complete and the breast to stabilize, although it can be performed from 2 months after the intervention. Nurses are responsible for performing micropigmentation/tattooing of the areola and nipple in mastectomized women.

The micropigmentation/tattoo procedure will be carried out following the protocol established in each center. This research only involves measuring the impact that this technique has on patients by collecting data in digital format before and after micropigmentation/tattoo.

On the first visit, the patient is informed of the micropigmentation/tattoo technique, its benefits and possible side effects.

If the patient meets the eligibility criteria, the study will be explained to her and she will be asked to sign consent to participate in the study.

In addition, a first assessment of the skin is performed and the design that will be made is explained to the patient. During this first visit, the allergy test is performed, which consists of a minimal injection of pigment in the area where the tattoo will be done. All information is given to the patient in writing and on this occasion the patient signs the informed consent document to consent to this technique being performed. In this visit, data collection corresponding to T0 is carried out. To do this, you will be provided with a QR code that will allow you to access the battery of questionnaires that make up the data collection. In addition, the nurse will complete some of the clinical variables when the patient accesses said link.

Starting the week following the allergy test, the patient can be scheduled for the second visit, and if there is no allergy to the pigment, the micropigmentation/tattoo will be performed after designing the shape, size and color following the hospital's protocol.

The patient will be scheduled again for the micropigmentation/reconstructive tattoo consultation after a month and a half for review and assessment of the need for micropigmentation touch-up.

For the collection of T1 and T2 data, digital notifications will be programmed that will be sent automatically after 3 and 12 months with the link to access the battery of questionnaires. Telephone follow-up will be carried out to avoid losses.

The participants will be evaluated in three times:

T0: baseline measurement at the time of recruitment in the visit with the nurse performing the intervention coinciding with the scheduled appointment for the allergy test.

Impact of Nipple Micropigmentation in Mastectomized Women. Quasi-experimental Study

Hopwood Body Image Scale (BIS). Validated in Spanish by Gómez-Campelo \& Bragado-Álvarez. This questionnaire presents Cronbach's alpha of 0.84 in the internal consistency analysis for Latina women with breast cancer and 0.93 in the general Spanish population. The questionnaire consists of 10 items that evaluate several dimensions of body image in cancer patients: affective, behavioral and cognitive. Items are scored on a four-point scale (0=not at all, 1=a little, 2=quite a bit, 3=a lot). The total score is the sum of the 10 items and ranges between 0 and 30. Higher scores correspond to a negative body image. The BIS is a brief, easy self-report instrument that is applicable to patients with any type of cancer, stage of disease, or treatment. Its use has increased in recent years, becoming a reference measure in international research.

Rosenberg Self-esteem scale. Validated in Spanish by Morejón et al.. This questionnaire has a Cronbach's alpha coefficient of 0.89 and a two-week test-retest correlation coefficient of 0.91 for the Spanish population. This questionnaire consists of a scale of 10 items whose contents focus on feelings of respect and acceptance of oneself, of which 5 are written positively and 5 negatively with a 4-point Likert-type response format. according to the degree of agreement: 1 (strongly disagree), 2 (disagree), 3 (agree), 4 (strongly agree). To correct it, the scores of the negatively stated items must be reversed (3,5,8,9,10) and all the items must subsequently be added. The total score, therefore, ranges between 10 and 40.

Female sexual function index (FSFI), developed by Rosen et al. The questionnaire is validated in Spanish, showing good reliability with Cronbach's alpha (α) of 0.7. It is a questionnaire of 19 questions, grouped into six domains: desire, arousal, lubrication, orgasm, satisfaction and pain. Each question has 5 or 6 response options, assigning them a score ranging from 0 to 5. The total value of each domain is multiplied by a coefficient and the final result is the arithmetic sum of the domains. The higher the score, the better sexuality. It is a self-administered, simple and reliable questionnaire to evaluate female sexual function in a wide age range.

Sexual Interaction Inventory (SII). Validated into Spanish by Aluja. In calculating reliability, Cronbach's alpha values (α) were obtained for the total scale between 0.79 and 0.93. The test-retest reliability at two weeks was between 0.5 and 0.9. It is a self-administered questionnaire whose objective is to evaluate the satisfaction and adjustment of a heterosexual couple. Only the first three items of the questionnaire will be used to assess the real and ideal frequency of each behavior, the degree of pleasure it provides to oneself and to the partner, as well as the degree of pleasure that you would like it to provide them.
