LSG is thought to be the best choice for obese patients with conincidental GISTs, as a tumour can be resected along with resecting the stomach within the same procedure. The primary endpoint is that, how much does GIST suppose to be far from a staple line to do safe laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy

The incidence of unsuspected GIST in LSG specimens in our series was high in comparison to cases reported in the literature.

GISTs could be safely removed laparoscopically during LSG surgery with negative microscopic resection margins, with 1-2cm safety margin. Margins less than 1cm, high mitotic rate are adverse prognostic factors.

Examining the whole stomach before resection is mandatory and can easily be done during LSG, GIST can be removed safely with LSG

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common endocrine disorder, with a prevalence of 5% to 15% in premenopausal women. Patients with PCOS presents as abnormal menstruation, ovulation disorders and/or hyperandrogenemia, and often accompanied by insulin resistance and other metabolic abnormalities. Sleeve gastrectomy was an effective threapy for severe obesity patients. This study will evaluate the clinical efficacy of sleeve gastrectomy for obese patients with PCOS. Mealwhile, the specific mechanism of sleeve gastrectomy for improving obese patients with PCOS will be explored through multi-group analysis.

This is a experimental study, which subjects are obese PCOS patients requiring LSG surgery. Aim to investigate the effects of LSG surgery in PCOS patients whether increases the live birth rate of the offspring.

The investigators designed a single center small sample exploratory study to clear the therapeutic effects of laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy on live birth rate improvements of overweight/obese PCOS patients. The investigators plan to enroll 18 patients. Inclusion criteria: 1) Patients who are aged from 18 to 45, not menopause;2) have PCOS which is diagnosed according to 2003 Rotterdam criteria; 3) have been treated with behavioral and drugs intervention for 3 months but are ineffective; 4) have steady or steady weight gain over 5 years, BMI\>35kg/m2, or BMI\>30kg/m2 with one of the metabolic disorders such as impaired glucose tolerance, cardiovascular disease, fatty liver, lipid metabolism disorders, sleep apnea syndrome.

Patients with serious complications (cardiovascular events and recent significant liver, kidney or lung disease within 3 months); high blood pressure (\>160/100mmHg); active infection; secondary diabetes; pregnancy; alcohol abuse; surgical contraindications are excluded.

Then the investigators plan to perform laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy . Before and after the intervention, the blood samples would be collected to detect blood glucose, insulin, lipid profile, sex hormones, blood chemistry for liver and kidney function, hsCRP etc., as well as the anthropometric measurement and image examinations. All patients are followed up every 3 months until the end of the program. All patients receive MRI plain scan of upper and lower abdomen, oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) and insulin, C-peptide releasing test again every 6 months after the operation. One year after the operation, patients would be evaluated whether they are suitable for pregnancy preparation and record the pregnancy mode. After pregnancy, various indicators would be closely monitored, including maternal vitamin and trace element levels.The birth of children and the live birth rate would be recorded.

The investigators will compare the data and finally identify the treatment effect of laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy on overweight/obese PCOS patients.

This study aims to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety in obese patients with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome after laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy.

This study aims to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety of laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy in obese patients with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome（PCOS). About 100 obese patients with PCOS and 100 simple obese patients (without complications) were enrolled.

All PCOS patients with obesity underwent LSG. A multidisciplinary team evaluated participants with obesity at baseline, 1, 3, 6, 12, 24, and 36 months after LSG. Anthropometrics, Metabolic indicators, sex hormones, menstruation，glucose-lipid metabolic markers, and hepatic steatosis were measured baseline and postoperative.

Obesity is an important risk factor for postmenopausal breast cancer. A large meta-analysis concluded that obesity is associated with a 20% to 40% increased risk for receptor-positive postmenopausal breast cancer. The International Agency for Research on Cancer working group on obesity and cancer risk drew similar conclusions. Obesity seems to have the opposite effect among premenopausal women, with most studies suggesting that higher BMI is associated with a reduced risk of premenopausal breast cancer.

Determining whether deliberate weight loss is associated with a reduced risk of breast cancer is difficult in part because sustained weight loss is difficult to achieve and few studies have sufficient statistical power to address this question. Bariatric surgery is one of the few weight loss interventions in which significant weight loss is maintained. A limited number of previous studies have suggested a reduced risk of cancer following bariatric surgery. Recently, it showed that bariatric surgery is associated with a lower risk of several types of cancer, including an approximately 40 % reduction in the risk of postmenopausal breast cancer. However, whether bariatric surgery affects breast cancer risk in premenopausal women and whether this association is altered by estrogen receptor (ER) status has not been addressed.

The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between weight loss after laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy (LSG) and breast cancer.

In this study, 300 female patients who underwent laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy due to morbid obesity in Fatih Sultan Mehmet Training and Research Hospital General Surgery Clinic will be included. The number of samples was calculated by performing impact power analysis.

Mamagrophy is recommended for all women over the age of 40 as part of the routine cancer screening program in our country. For this reason, it is assumed that female patients over the age of 40 who have undergone LSG operation have undergone mammography as of 2022. For this reason, the data of these patients will be examined by scanning from the hospital system. Patients who have undergone mammography examination at least 3 years after the LSG operation will be included in the study. The mammograms of the patients who underwent mammography in January 2015 and later will be evaluated. The final diagnosis of breast cancer will be made with the pathology result in patients with suspicious appearance on mamagrophy.

If there is a malignancy detected as a result of the examinations, its size and pathology will be recorded. Patients' age, gender, and total weight loss will be recorded.

In this retrospective study, we aimed to determine the incidence of breast cancer in patients who had undergone LSG surgery and also to determine whether there was a change in breast cancer compared to weight loss.

The patient inclusion criteria are as follows:

* 40 years and older (age as of 2022, not the age of operation)
* LSG was applied in our clinic due to morbid obesity.
* Patients whose mamagrofi images are available in the hospital system

The patient exclusion criteria are as follows:

* Patients who underwent abdominal surgery again after LSG
* Patients whose mamagrophy image is not in the system
* Patients with suspicious findings as a result of mammography and who did not undergo additional imaging or biopsy
* Patients out of follow-up after the operation

Since the incidence of breast cancer was investigated in the study and the incidence of breast cancer in women is much higher than in men, only female patients will be included. Since all patients included in the study would undergo mammography, female patients over the age of 40 were included in the study.
